Certification and sustainability
According to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008, starting from buying raw material, to a strict control of production process and finished product, the constancy of our product is a security for the customers' production process. For the realization of the products, Omniafibre uses registered materials that comply with the codes of the pharmaceutical and food organism for European and international control of raw materials used in food industry such as the FDA.
Omniafibre pays special attention to the respect for the Environment, to workers safety, and to the quality of production processes and management. Use fibres that come from controlled forests. During production process Omniafibre fully respects the controlling directives of the Environmental Management System through the management of industrial activities according to standard national and international environmental schemes and efficient use of energy resources and raw materials. First Omniafiltra, pioneer in the field, and then Omniafibre, have since a long time initiated a sustainable developing project aimed at consolidating its industrial structure in the context of ecological and social environment in which it operates and, at the same time, be a good example for their customers and suppliers. Our attention to the environment is placed in a wider context and not just for a mere ecological concept.
In 2002 Omniafiltra started, as a forerunner in this field, a system of re-using waste-material from technical papers. Such system represents a process for the production of paper using waste paper from the process of gasket paper production and from paper trimmings from other types of technical papers.
Such recycled paper is used as raw material for the manufacturing other types of technical papers.
Appropriate production control has been guaranteed since more than twenty years, according to the total quality method. From raw materials to finished products, high and constant quality levels are assured by an efficient control procedure carried out by skilled staff members who avail themselves of advanced equipment.
